Expression

Our integrated unit for this term is all about expression.  Today we tried using a website that was new to most of us called 'Padlet' to brainstorm words related to expression.  It was great to be able to see everyone's ideas coming up on one page at the same time!

Expressing Our Opinions About Art

We had a mini gallery in the classroom today so that we could discuss art that we liked and express our opinions in writing.  We had to describe the artwork (using lots of detail), interpret what we thought it was about and express our opinion of it.

Lucky book clubs went home today as well and are due back by the 8th May.

Farewell Fathin

Wow - what fantastic parents we have!  We enjoyed an amazing shared lunch on Thursday with much more delicious food than we could possibly eat - even though many went back for seconds at the end of lunch!  It was nice to spend some relaxed time together to farewell Fathin and wish him all the best for his move to Indonesia.

We also got to play Tetris with our classroom furniture trying to fit it all onto our small patch of vinyl in preparation for the new carpet - we can't wait to see what it looks like!
